The Keets left shortly after coffee and rusks. It was a beautiful day, spent mainly in camp and walking on the gorgeous beach. Only two other couples were seen. The sea was incredibly cold. I read in the paper that they had had lots of north-east winds which apparently bring cold water in. The article said that the water had gone down to 13,5 degrees the day before we were there. There was a unanimous decision not to swim.
On an afternoon drive we landed up at Kwelera Nature Reserve which is on the south side of the river to where we were camped. A new development there which has an airport for residents to fly in, is called ‘What’s Landing’. How kitch can you be!!!
